Gassnova shall promote technology development and capacity building to enable cost-effective and future-oriented solutions for the capture, transport and storage of CO2.

CLIMIT&TCM&Longship
Gassnova will act as a technical and strategic advisor to the Ministry on carbon capture and storage as a climate change mitigation measure, contributing to the effective exchange of expertise and learning. As part of its work, Gassnova will monitor technology and market trends related to CO2 capture.
Keep track
By 1 October, keep track of CO2 management projects in Norway and report on the market situation.
Mapping
Identifying opportunities to reduce CO2 emissions in industry, with a particular focus on industrial clusters. The work should be seen in the context of the CO2 management tools.
The public policy system
Contribute to the study of policy instruments for CO2 management, including further work on new instruments and measures for CO2 capture.
